Yes, you can. You can read about this here.
What to do if it says that ‘ur gmc account is locked” ?
Dear Dr,
Reading that, known how much experience you have in that field, however, I hope you can help me with an answer!
my internship was 12 months (11months then after 5 years last month) although I was practicing in a medical facility through that period, just not a full registered doctor therefore my duties werenot like a full doctor, more like assistant or FY1 duties. will that be a problem in my registration, giving the fact Iam fully registered now in my country?
thanks for your time
It will definitely cause an issue. But I can not predict if the GMC will accept this internship or not. So far, the longest gap I have seen the GMC accepting between an internship is three years. I wish you the best of luck and I hope your internship gets accepted.
