When Is It Needed?

Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is needed for the following:

  1. Clinical attachments in the UK.
  2. Tier 2 (General) visa for the UK.
  3. Employment in the UK.

 

Procedure for Issuance of PCC

You will have to go to the local police station and request them to issue a PCC for you. They will ask for the documents mentioned below.

 

Documents Needed

  • Copies of the following:
  1. Passport.
  2. National Identity Card.
  3. Matriculation marks sheet.
  4. Matriculation certificate.
  5. Intermediate marks sheet.
  6. Intermediate certificate.
  7. PMDC Certificate.
  8. Father’s National Identity Card.
  9. National Identity Card of two neighbours.
  • Five passport size photographs.

 

Background Check

The police will conduct a background check to make sure that a PCC can be issued to you. Once the background check is complete, they will call you or you can go to the police station yourself to collect your PCC.

 

Time Taken

The whole process takes 7 to 10 days.

 

Fee

The fee will be minimal.

 

Validity

It is valid for 6 months.

    Sir,is the certificate issued from the relevant district sufficient or we have to go for the federal one???

    If a person has switched cities/districts in Pakistan, does he/she need to get police clearance from all the cities or just one will do???

  3. Salaam sir. So a protector stamp, police clearance and NICOP all of this should be done after I have recieved my passport issued with tier 2 visa Insha Allah?
