Marina Akham’s PLAB 1 Experience

Studies with Work

My preparation started a couple of weeks just before the exam. As I am doing my internship I couldn’t devote myself fully to studies. But my Post-Graduates were very supportive. I could study at work place.

18 Hours-A-Day

I studied around 18 hours per day. This included the online classes I took at Samson too. Since I’m from India the time difference was around four and half hours from London time. I would revise the in morning whatever was done on the previous day. I prepared only for 20 days – one subject per day for major subjects and two or three subjects per day depending on the volume of the subject.

Do What is Best For You

One thing I kept in my mind is “Do what is best for you”. You don’t have to follow what others do. In fact, I didn’t do 1700 nor PLABable or any other notes. I just had faith and confidence in what I was reading which was Samson notes. And I was ready to go extra miles to achieve what I had in my mind.
