MY PLAB PART 1 EXPERIENCE AND STUDY PLAN:
(First of all, I apologise for not being able to answer all your queries personally. However, here I tried to answer them all )

IELTS REQUIREMENTS FOR PLAB: Overall 7.5 with minimum 7 in each module (academic IELTS)

Time: I prepared for 2 and a half months (approx)

STUDY PLAN: 1700 questions (I did it once but if possible do it at least for twice or as many times as you can) as majority (minimum 115-120 or even more) questions appear from these 1700 pool. I personally used OHCM & OHCS as my reference while solving 1700. No need to read them thoroughly though but only important topics(at least cross check the answers). Also make sure you have read all the emergency managements. It will definitely help.

SAMSON NOTES: Precise and helpful but have some mistakes 😓. Please recheck from books when in doubt.

MOCKS: Do as much as you can with correct answers. It will boost your confidence 💪💪
I did samson mocks( around 7)
Do not waste much time on confusing questions. As long as you know the theory, you’re good to go. Questions are clearer in the exam.

ETHICS: I read GMC case scenarios (GMP in action) only and followed previous posts regarding ethics in the group.(Though I am highly doubtful if my ethics answers were correct in the exam 😛 )

EPIDEMIOLOGY AND STATISTICS: Whatever I got in 1700 and in the group I solved.

GROUP DISCUSSION: IT’S MUST.It’s indescribable how this group has helped me. Especially Dr.Khalid Saifullah and Dr.Sri Dthuruga Devi, their contributions deserve special mention. They guided us and answered our queries with such patience! Group members kept correcting each other until perfection. I got to learn so many things from this group discussion. 💚 And how can I forget Samira Siddique? I miss all those late night discussions with her.

Long story short, lastly I would like to emphasize on time management. TIME FLIES IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE IN THE REAL EXAM. Slow readers like me, PLEASE TAKE NOTES. I struggled really hard in completing 200 questions.

Alhamdulillah! I passed with 160 score in first attempt and I want to say that if I can do it, so can you.

GOOD LUCK!

May Allah help us all.
