(This visa experience is important because the applicant’s visa was issued for less than six months and even though, it was covering their exam date, their visa was reissued for six months later. For complete guidance on how to get your visa dates corrected, kindly check Dr. Reema Rasul’s guidance here).
I was issued a visa for 6 weeks which included my exam date but did not cover my academy. I sent my inquiry to the UKVI on their website via email. I added the following detail.
- Full name
- GWF application number
- Date of Birth
- Passport number
- Nationality
- Visa application centre (city and country)
- Appointment date
- Type of visa
- E-mail address used on application
- Correct dates and wrong dates
Along with this I also added that I would like my visa to be extended because:
- I might have to take PLAB 2 again.
- PLAB visa is issued for 6 months.
After this, I was asked to submit my passport and within 7 working days. I got my visa which was extended to 180. However, they did not change the issue date.
